About
Hi, I'm Kimoon.
I am a Ph.D. student in experimental condensed matter physics at KAIST. My current research focuses on charge density waves in transition metal dichalcogenides and related materials, as well as the development of ARPES instrumentation and analysis methods.
More broadly, I am interested in both the physics and the practice of experiment. I
have experience with ultra-high vacuum and cryogenic systems, synchrotron- and
lab-based ARPES experiments, and the development of data acquisition and analysis
tools. I also develop erlabpy, a library
for analyzing and visualizing ARPES data.
